Tips and cheats specific to the Soviet forces.

s1.01 Build a Chinook and 5 engineers, them start building a barracks and a Tanya, but put them on hold at 99% complete. Fly the Chinook into the enemy base and get the engineers into one of the enemies' vital buildings. Then deploy the barracks and make it primary building, then complete the Tanya and build another. Also start building telsa coils to defend the barracks. Use Tanya to blow up as many buildings as possible.

s1.02 Build 1 Chinook and 5 Tanyas. Load them up and fly them to the enemy base - be extremely careful of antiaircraft defences - probably best to fly to somewhere else first to fly into their base from a different direction to avoid to AA defences pointed towards your base. Unload and blow up as many buildings as possible. You'll die fairly quickly, but if you take out his MCV and a few war factories and ore refineries you'll slow him down a fair bit.

s1.03 Build 6 MIGs as this is enough to take out any building. Bear in mind that AA defences may shoot down some before they reach the target. Check out his AA defences before you fly them in, build more than 6 if you think some won't make it.

s1.04 V2 rockets are powerful but take 30 seconds to reload. Used best against wooden buildings like powerplants when they are undefended.

s1.05 After you have made service depot and soviet tech centre, you can sell them and still save option to build/train same units limited time.

s1.06 Once you have the money and time to build a tech centre or service depot, build them and sell them straight away. You get all the extra options like Tanya and MCV's added to your build lists, and you get some of the money back and don't waste power consumption.

s1.07 Heavy tanks, you'll grow to love them, build lot's of them. Try a 2 or even a 3 pronged attack with about 15 - 20 in each squad, very effective, especially if one of them goes first to draw the enemy tanks away from where the second squad will attack.

s1.08 Mammoth tanks, my advice would be don't bother, they are slow and are easily wiped out by a squad of smaller tanks. They are slow to build also which means you'll have 3 mammoth tanks, and the enemy will have 12 medium tanks, you've got no chance. If you must build them base defence is their best role, as they work as antiaircraft defence as well, although rocket troops are better, faster and a lot cheaper.

s1.09 Drop parabombs on Allied tech centres, they should hopefully be able to destroy it before they are killed as it is poorly armoured.

s1.10 Use spy planes to uncover gap generators then quickly send in the MIGs to destroy key buildings. Also to recon his base before launching a land attack.

s1.11 Telsa tanks reveal a large amount of shroud as they move and they are fast units. They make perfect scouts - remember an allied player has GPS so you need to do a lot of scouting so you can see what is going on too.
